Gabriella Ortega (FHS Class of 2023) has big plans and we on the foundation board love to see that! She plans to become a travel nurse. “Travel nursing has always been a dream of mine because I love helping people and I love traveling so it would be the perfect combination,” says Gabriella. Currently she is a freshman at Mount Saint Mary’s University. She used the award money that she received from the foundation to buy a laptop because she did not have one and she knew she would need one to be able to complete her assignments. She thanked us for our help and we thanked her for providing us with inspiration. Seeing our award recipients succeed keeps us going.
