This year’s winner of the esteemed Antypas family memorial scholarship award, Milo Straw, is on his way to Lewis and Clark College. There he plans to pursue an education to become a teacher because he feels it will enable him to impact his community. As he sees it, “everything trickles back down – if I can reach a student, that student will reach someone else, and it will continue on.” We think that is a great reason to become a teacher! Milo plans to use the award money to assist with his college expenses, such as a computer, a bus pass, textbooks and a meal plan. Aptly, Milo has thanked the Antypas family for their investment in his future. We think his future is looking very bright!
