Recently, the Foundation has taken a remarkable step to preserve its history for generations to come: We have begun videotaping co-founder Jack Wright as he recounts the compelling story of how it all began. Long before the Franklin High School Educational Foundation became a pillar of support for our graduating seniors, it existed as a hopeful idea in the minds of a few impassioned faculty members. Chief among them was Jack Wright, who along with several likeminded individuals, believed that we could—and should—play a pivotal role in supporting the school’s continued excellence. Thus, our Foundation was formed. Recording Mr. Wright’s oral history will offer invaluable insight into the birth and growth of our Foundation, and his story of the lessons learned along the way will inspire us. Soon we will post these videotaped interviews – stay tuned. (Pictured here is Franklin Film teacher Arturo Ortiz as he records Jack Wright.)
