Carime Lopez (FHS Class of 2023) started school at Cal State Los Angeles this fall with a few extra dollars in her pocket thanks to an award from the Franklin High School Educational Foundation. “This wonderful award will provide me so much help in making sure I succeed in school,” says Carime. “I want to express my gratitude for the hard work you all have done to make sure my peers and I receive this opportunity.” The Foundation is happy to help! We love to see you succeed. Carime used her award money to pay for books, a parking permit and other college expenses. She credits the teachers and college counselors at Franklin with helping her to make the great choice to go to Cal State Los Angeles – she is so happy there!
